Thanks to Willard Carpenter for the tip
While the war on Christmas rages across America one McDonald’s franchisee in Columbia, Tennessee stands firm in their forty-plus year tradition of painting the Christian nativity scene on the windows of their three locations.
The original WZTV article can be found HERE.
In a world that attacks Christians for their scriptural values, beliefs, and tenents as hateful; these entrepenuers risk their livlihoods each Christmas season by openly displaying the nativity, the words “His name is Jesus” and “Believe” on their windows. The risks are evidently paying off as they are still in business over forty-years later with no signs of stopping.
This story originally broke and went viral back in 2015. However, it gets picked up and recirculated each year around the holiday season. This year is no different. If you are in the Columbia, TN area perhaps think about stopping in, wishing them a Merry Christmas, and make a purchase. They honor the Risen King, so perhaps we should honor them as well.
10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;
Romans 12:10 (NASB)
